Reprofax. ReproFX. Spirit. Colonial Converting. We use a lot of names, all of them in honor of over a half of a century of innovative products.
We started out in 1946 in Illinois, when Earl Bradley founded Colonial Converting Company. We manufactured office supply products like paper and typewriter ribbons. But it wasn't until the 1960s that the company found its calling- transfer paper.
Transfer paper was used around the world prior to computers as a cheap way of replicating documents. There were two steps to the analog transfer. The first was the "thermal transfer," the second the "spirit transfer." The "thermal transfer" copied the original document onto a master unit using a thermal copying machine- usually a 3M Thermofax. The "spirit transfer" used ethanol spirits and a machine to transfer the dye on the master unit onto the copies.

Tattoo Art Stencil Barrier Cream by Spirit - 8oz Bottle
Spirit has designed a transfer agent to specifically work effortlessly with Spirit Tattoo Transfer Papers. No harsh chemicals are used in the Spirit Stencil Transfer Cream and it's safe to use on all skin types. Mild organic solvents lock the dye pigment in place effectively so that transfers are crisp and accurate. Don't worry about having to replace the stencil again when you use this transfer cream in conjunction with Spirit paper.
Instructions:
Shake bottle. Put a small amount of Spirit Transfer Cream onto a gloved hand, spreading over the prepared area until skin is damp but not wet. Apply stencil art to skin, holding 3 to 5 seconds. Remove stencil and allow to set 5 to 10 minutes.

Spirit Extra Long Thermal Carrier – 28” Clear
The ReproFX Spirit Extra Long Clear Carrier is 28" in length and was designed for use with the Spirit Classic Thermal Rolls in infrared thermal fax machines.
This clear carrier was developed to evenly distribute thermal energy over the entire transfer paper, resulting in an improved “burn” quality and to help protect the transport rollers from damage and wax residue.
One box contains a single Spirit Extra Long 28” Spirit Carrier.Please Note: Clear Carriers are designed for use with the Panenka Thermal Imager or other A3/A4 thermal machines. If you have an older 3M thermal machine, it is recommended to use a Blue Carrier.
